A former Chicago alderman turned political science professor/corruption fighter has found that Chicago is the most corrupt city in the country. He cites data from the U.S. Department of Justice to prove his case. And, he says, Illinois is third-most corrupt state in the country. University of Illinois at Chicago professor Dick Simpson, who served as alderman of the 44th Ward in Lakeview from 1971 to 1979, estimates the cost of corruption at $500 million.
Clew Rock, Scheme, Astonish and Jamal Science got together to knock out a remake of the Red Carpet joint from Evidence’s album which was produced by the Alchemist. It’s one of the best beats to come out as of recent so the SRNC team decided to re-do it in their own way.
With the help of DJ Scend the click got together at the Shoebox and knocked this joint out as a testing of the waters for the upcoming SRNC EP which will be worked on in the next couple of weeks.
Earlier today Forbes released its annual list of America’s Most Miserable Cities. Let’s just say the Midwest is well-represented, including appearances by both Rockford and Chicago. What do you think of the list? Is Chicago really that miserable?
